Every traveler to Egypt, regardless of age—from adults to infants—must have a separate e-visa. There is no minimum age to apply. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for completing the e-visa application for their children.

The e-visa permits a maximum stay of 30 days in Egypt and cannot be extended. To prolong your visit, it is necessary to apply for an alternative visa or seek guidance from the Egyptian immigration authorities.

Yes, an e-visa is valid for entry into Egypt at all designated ports, including airports, seaports, and land border crossings.

Yes, even if you're arriving by cruise ship, you can get an e-visa. Just be sure to include your cruise ship's information and your port of entry in Egypt when you fill out the application.

Although travel insurance is not required for an e-visa, it is strongly recommended. Having coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unexpected events provides peace of mind and protection for your trip to Egypt.

The Egypt e-Visa is an electronic travel authorization that must be obtained before your trip. Since it's pre-approved, you can expect a quick and easy border inspection upon arrival.
